Q: Is there a simple way to dry flowers? -- Crystall Frank Reply

A: Sort through your flowers and discard extra stems, leaves, and so on. Keep only what you want. Divide what is left into small bunches Tie each bunch with yarn or string or even a rubber band. Hang these upside down in a dark and dry room. You need the dark to keep the flowers from fading and you need the dry so that the flowers won't rot. Check your flowers every couple of days until they are dry to the touch. The temperature and the humidify will affect the time it takes, but generally a few weeks will be sufficient. Then you will be ready to go and use the dried flowers for decorating or crafts. Comment
