How to separate glasses that are stuck together

Q: Glasses Stuck Together. I have two glasses that are stuck together. I would like to separate them. Any tips on how to do this? E-mail answer to this address Reply Thanks. -- Tommie Cooper (Ref:0420)

Answer #1: Using hot and cold water heat the outer glass and cool the inner one, they will soon pop apart. -- Dave Ed  Comment

Answer #2: Put the two items in the freezer, then start heating the outer glass gently, too rapid and the outer glass will break, I start with room temperature water then if that fails hotter water on a cloth. never fails. A similar method can be used on metal nuts and bolts, a flame is needed for that though. qznaz Comment
